First time trying Famous Taco and it was amazing! Got take out, it was quick and the food was very fresh. Ordered the Carne Guisada dinner with rice and beans. Also got the combination plate, came with an enchilada, taco and tostada, came with a side of Carne Guisada. Shells were homemade and crispy. Portions were amazing. Chile (salsa) was fresh and spicy. Side note: Location was nice and you don't have to pay for parking. Restaurant was very clean also.
Well, I visited my favorite Mexican restaurant. Just as usual, it was delicious! Large portions for the price. My neighbor and I came together it was her birthday, my treat. Awesome service, hardworking waitress. I believe we might have ordered the same food and will post anyway. You do get Heartburn after though! LORD
The new location is outstanding! Fun murals and very brightly lit. Food seems fresher as well. Service is hustling, even though they seem understaffed- the waitstaff is working like clockwork to get you taken care of. So glad they stayed on the Westside. We love our Famous Taco.
Finally working a local job, Famous Taco was more of a convenience lunch stop more than anything. Never bothered to look at reviews until I got on Yelp to finally type out mine. I was shocked to see the low stars. Ate lunch here ALMOST everyday for a couple of months. Food was always fresh, fast , and very tasteful. Waitstaff was always very attentive and polite. I thought prices were fairly reasonable for an easy lunch stop. Definitely will be stopping back when I'm working local again. Oh yeah, one more thing.... Chicken is better than the beef, and add sour cream!
Gif to go in and eat last month. Food amazing, I'm still working on the perfect burrito. Enchilada's soo good heated up well the next day. As well as my hit burrito Salsa was fabulous Device..:she didn't write down orders and kept forgetting stuff. Super sweet
